Top Performance: Best Bowling
The superb bowling performance in the grand final came here from RCB’s uncapped sensation Rasikh Salam. Stepping onto the biggest stage of all, the junior speedster delivered a masterclass in changes of pace and fading bowling. Rashikh disrupted crucial moments and disrupted the momentum of the Titans’ middle order just as Washington Sundar threatened to break unbound.
He faced the dangerous Nishant Sindhu, beautifully set Washington Sundar, and hit the stumps of Rashid Khan to complete his 4 overs with sensational figures of 3/27 on a very high stakes back 6. His seventy-five financial order charge did not rally Gujarat for success until the third pace of the match in RCB camp
Man of the Match:
The Man of the Match award rightfully went to Virat Kohli with his pristine, unbeaten 42-ball seventy-five*.
Chasing a tough target of 156 during the intense excitement of the final, Kohli flawlessly anchored the innings. He manipulated Venkatesh Iyer in the side early on, ensuring that RCB stayed well ahead of the desired run rate. Displaying an amazing array of textbook cover drives and official pull, Kohli cleared the boundary 3 times and hit 9 hurdles. Even when Rashid Khan roamed the net through the middle order with doubles, Kohli stood like a stone, left too much behind and stayed only to ensure the winning runs were hit with just overs to spare.
Man of the Series:
The valuable player of the tournament goes to prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals.
The young batting sensation took the 2026 edition by storm, showing huge growth, tactical depth, batting past his years and amassing fit win banks in league titles, and single-handedly dragging his franchise after several high streams, Suryavanshi stood above the opposition, made a big percentage of himself Outstanding Player of the IPL 2026.
Conclusion:
The Tata IPL 2026 concluded with historic performances in Ahmedabad as Royal Challengers Bangalore joined Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the pool of back-to-back champions.
The latter becomes a tactical masterpiece by dominating tightly through RCB’s first-class system. Taking the field first, put together flawlessly by their bowling unit, reveling in the raw execution of Rashikh Salam, suffocating Gujarat Titans to a below par score of one hundred and fifty five. Gujarat battled back heroically on the back of Washington Sundar’s fighting fifty and Rashid Khan’s brilliance with the ball however they honestly collided with an unstoppable force in Virat Kohli. This emphatic victory cements RCB’s modern-day dominance, completing the radical international game and concluding an unforgettable season of high-octane IPL cricket.
